Once upon a time there was a dream... inhabited by beings, who were lost, yet pure, fragile yet determined to never give up. The universe they created existed on the verge of time, two beings balancing their lives, one on the inside, one on the outside... so close but never able to meet. Then the inner landscape became illuminated and their world became a map. The map of an inner journey. Two beings met each other in the middle of a dream, amongst the grains of their white earth they danced possessed in body and soul.
Three artists (Agnieszka Kapuscinska, Beth Partridge & Artur Golacki) come together for the first time to collaborate on the performance that is a very individual interpretation of a ritual known as a creation of the ‘Mandala’. Expressed in the language of a physical theatre and installation, our Mandala carries us into the world of subconscious where the notion of time and individual are lost. The land where we discover anew the bare, the elemental qualities of the human soul. By mentally entering the Mandala a traveller explores all the levels of the psychic experience. The journey starts with his ordinary personality divided and fragmented by a thousand conflicting emotions and ends with reintegration into the awareness of the primordial inner unity.
