A combination of cutting-edge drag performance fusing costume, spoken word, dance and installation (performed on a wooden barrel), Past highlights have included potty cocktails, Helium duets, Bikini Clown Striptease and a gala performance of Lady Macbeth of Romford, all set to a glossy eighties soundtrack with more Bucks Fizz than you can shake a stick at. Raising the roof and bursting at the seams - Radio Egypt now rellocates to iitsholy fantastic big sister, 291 Gallery, just a conga up the Hackney Road. Providing a magnificent setting for even greater works of madness by performance artist Jonathan Wooster (aka Satanica Pandamonia) and allowing a greater emphasis on movement and film, whilst the devotees can luxuriously spread out, with space to revel in Richardette’s superb blend of eighties mayhem.
