Instrumental
One of the leading contemporary ensembles, the 6 piece string sextet Instrumental, return to 291 for a night of eclectic, cutting-edge ‘classical’ music. Always seeking to explore the sonic possibilities of acoustic music within new media, Instrumental combine double bass loops with violin scratches and mystical harmonies and are definitely ‘set to redefine acid house and techno’. Instrumental have performed at the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican and on Channel 4 television. Amongst their many collaborations they have worked with Nitin Sawhney, Urban Species and many more. A truly spectacular audio-visual experience.
