The Japanese Invasion 28-02-2002

A showcase evening for Japanese musicians, film and video makers and artists.

Each month THE JAPANESE INVASION features Japanese films by new and emerging film makers (either in English or Japanese with English subtitles), Live performances from Japanese bands and Japanese DJ's playing a variety of music from soul to pop. The programme for this Thursday 28th February includes experimental animated films by Masaru Shimizu and Yuki Tsujita. The screening will be followed by a sound composition performed by composer Haruna Kawakatsu, bands Miso Soup and Taca Pop and DJ Japanese Jimmy.
