Visual Artist
Maurizio Pio Rocchi has exhibited work in various media in Rome, Milan, New York, Bei Jing, Munich, Copenhagen and Bremen. In 1994 he began to combine visual art with music and dance and has given many improvised performances throughout Italy, and, recently in London. Since 1991 he has been producing organic wine from his vineyard in Tuscania, Italy.
Dancers
Lisa Allcorn is a third year student at London Contemporary Dance School. She also dances with the National Youth Dance Company, and has performed in works by many leading choreographers.
Ruth Clark Ruth Clark trained at the Laban Centre London and has toured extensively with Springs Dance Company since 1997. Other short projects include dancing for research and development with Ginger Dance Theatre and for the Choreographers‚ Lab (1999), touring with "Awakenings" (2000) and occasional performances with prang, as well dancing in a short project for the BBC. Ruth occasionally teaches at the Laban Centre London.
Marina Collard founded dance company prang in 1997. Recent projects include ‘merge’ (2001) a collaboration with film maker Tom Paine and composer James Keane supported by Chisenhale Dance Space, 'bcnsfld' (2000). Marina has been working closely with James Keane who created the sound score for the live works 'skin' (2001), <p\> (2001) and her two most recent works ‘flying’ and ‘left’ (2002). Marina is an experienced teacher currently working at Lewisham College and Laban Centre London. She has also taught in Italy and Russia and continues to dance for Independent choreographers such as Clare Baker and Virginia Farman.
Verity Inge has choreographed and performed with Nightshift Dance Theatre, Motionhouse Dance Theatre, and Catherine Seymour Company. She worked with David Cross and the David Cross Band in both improvised and choreographed pieces, and first performed with Maurizio Pio Rocchi in Hoxton Square in 2001. Verity works with people with special needs in dance and drama and has taught contemporary dance extensively both in the U.K. and abroad.
Musicians
David Cross was a member of King Crimson from 1972 - 1974, and since has recorded over 30 albums in his own name. David has also written music for theatre and dance.
Arch Stanton, a 26-year-old Irish musician, is the vocalist with The David Cross Band. He fronts his own 5-piece group, which performs regularly in Dublin and New York. Having been everything from an avant-garde guitarist to a country & western pianist, Arch has finally decided to be himself and sing.
