26 new international artists come together for this two-day event hosted by the 291 Gallery. At the beginning of the project, artists will be unaware of the venue where they will be exhibiting. Details of the venue will be disclosed 5 days before the start of the event, at which point artists will conceive, make, rehearse, and install the work. The work will span video and film screenings, installation, performance, public speaking, sound, and ‘happenings’.

The project aims to thrive on the spontaneity of the creative act, by restricting the timescale for the entire project. Within this show, we aim to uncover and conjure a sense of energy and spontaneity we feel is lacking in many shows currently on in London. This event aims to refresh, enliven, widen, and nourish its audience with a fresh approach from new and very talented artists. Within the 5-day period before the show, all proposals will be selected from participants and curated in response to the space.
