A showcase night of experimental live cinema, featuring new commissioned works from top visual, audiovisual and sonic artists. Two rooms include live music and multiple projections, visual jousting and installations, djs and vjs.

An evening of live happenings in an evolving space 15 artists, 50 projectors - 4 hours of time released entertainment

Short turns - between 5 and 20 mins - all experiments in sound and image. The continuous visual thread of the evening will be the visual joust between Konst and Ollie on the massive screens. Your musical host in the main space will be Fred Deakin - once known as

Fred Leicester. The experience will be theatrical and lavish - over 50 meters of projection screens - the interior of the venue lit up with multiple still and moving images, the sound bed throughout warming the tone and lifting the spirit. In the bar more music and vision. This time in the form of an interactive cctv piece The Effect which can shift time and make you disappear and reappear. As the DJs play a more chilled out range, the screen responds twitching and changing in time to the beat.

Halsey Brown provides a moody moment with empty scenes from well known films in "Inside and Outside of Moving Time" La Bande A Toute Faire - live rescoring of George Melies pioneering silent scifi Journey to the Moon - using a hi-fi/lo-fi mixture of home made instruments and digital processing

Neil Robert Herd - the self-styled Les Dawson of pedal steel guitar players - retwangs twisted cowboy animations

Jes Benstock of Technobabble, Xavier Perkins of Exceeda + Giles Thacker of Ultrascope - boil down and remix Terry Gilliam's Brazil - mangling the soundtrack and the images into a 10 minute head to head homage with live sound manipulation - from the video feeds and hidden mics through the venue mixed and resampled by Lee Walker Ultrascope create the visuals and design the screens for Orbital's touring show. Technobabble produce short films - as well as pop videos for Orbital, Morcheeba, The Levellers and the video projections for Catatonia's last tour. Lee Walker is cornerstone of the trip hop alchemists Mellowtrons.

filmmakers and choice tv moments - ranging from the bizarre to the almost unwatchable - chosen in random order by the wheel. When you've had enough shout "spin the wheel" and the next random choice goes on. A gong show for all those strange bits of video that make you laugh for about 30 seconds.

"Fred Deakin misspent most of his youth getting messy behind the turntables in various dodgy dives up and down the country. After

teaching graphics at Central St. Martin's for a couple of years, he co-founded the new media design company Airside. He is also half of the Lemon Jelly sound experience, and can be found getting just as messy behind the turntables every month at Impotent Fury, a night he runs at the 333 in Hoxton for fellow sufferers."

Insight are a collaboration of lighting designers and visual artists who have worked together since the beginning of the rave scene.
