STUNNERS is a moving, filmic monolith which stretches across two screens and lasts for over an hour. It includes live performance and interactive video. It deals with attention or lack of it. Stunners will be shown alongside film, performance and internet projects from artists who we believe are making thought provoking work. Stunners is a site-specific event presented at 291 specifically because it is one of the most interesting & varied art spaces in London, housed in an old, converted church with many original features and an atmospheric 'church-like' feel.

HYDRA LIVE ART is an artist led, Hackney based, organisation. Founded in 1996, hydra shows work in unorthodox spaces, encouraging work which takes risks, breaks boundaries and encourages new audiences. Hydra has produced events in clubs in Shoreditch, Festivals (including Glastonbury), Music Halls and the internet. HYDRA is a cross disciplinary arts group whose members come from backgrounds in performance art, television, new media, photography and advertising.

Anita Ponton is a performance artist and researcher at Goldsmiths. Her work deals with the fear of non-existence and performance art. In her performance she interacts with a double screen presence of herself.

Flip Wibbly Jelly is a photographer showing a double film about being alone in a desert in Chile.

Nigel Lindley is a film maker & lecturer. He will show a pop video on two screens about women & redness.

Gini Simpson works in an advertising agency. She will show a two-screen film shot on location in the Heygate Estate in the Elephant & Castle. She made this work in collaboration with Miles Trees a local artist/resident on the estate who has since died, this screening is also a tribute to him.

Simon Hyde works for Rosetta Life, as an artist in residence at a hospice. He will show an interactive video piece, which involves the audience shouting.

Crispin Johannessen is Norwegian. He makes work about horses; this piece is about horses & alcohol.

Lennie Lee works in China, making performance art & film. His work is beautiful & confrontational. Not for the faint hearted.

Sabine Glasser works trans continentally. She will show Tongues, an everlasting female to female kiss. Germ is a collector. He will be making a performance with fresh meat. The 13th of March is also his birthday.

Darren Leaf made a performance with his Mum at the ICA, about the death of his Dad. His work is entrancing. It's about the sweet smell of success.

Jon Storey is a video artist & a documentary director. He makes micro paintings, which he showed alongside landscape paintings at the V and A.

C6 will make an anger management system, in collaboration with artists in Norway, New Zealand and users of the world wide web. C6 endeavour to connect people in an audio visual presentation/installation created by the public and curated by c6 (the original art wankers).
