LimitedNOISE is a new London based collective presenting seven artists and six live audio events featuring a diverse selection of performers and including talks and seminars from established composers.
THE INSTALLATIONS - free entry Tuesday - Sunday from 12noon - 6pm
CHRIS AMEY - Music for Sleeping, DANIEL BAKER - Sound Painting, LUKE DURANCE - Noise Reduction, JEY MALAIPERUMAN - Synaesthetic Landscape, RALF NUHN - Let Them Be, ANDREW PLUMMER & DOMINIC MEACHEN - Hyde Park Upon Sea, RICHARD THOMAS - Eight Mental Processes that have Something/Nothing to do with the Periodic Table.
THE EVENTS
TUES 22nd-Asleep at the Wheel present: Sonic Party (private view from 6-8:30pm then £3) co-promoted by Asleep at the Wheel. Sonic party features an up-beat sonic improvisation.
THURS 24th - Lansdown Centre for Electronic Arts - starts 7:30pm (free)
Multi-channel diffusion from SABINE SCHAFER and JOACHIM KREBS; compositions from KATHARINE NORMAN; piano and live electronics from virtuoso TANIA CHEN and LCEA’sTRACTOR.
FRI 25th - The London Musicians Collective and Sonic Arts Network - 8:00pm(£7/£5)
A focus on sampling and extreme turntablism.
SAT 26th - Lo Recordings - starts 8:00pm (£7/£5)
Lo Recordings will be presenting a night of live performance and film from artists: THEY CAME FROM THE STARS (I SAW THEM), JOHANNES, HAIRY BUTTER SOUND SYSTEM, CURSOR MINER, GAMERS IN EXILE, CHOCOLATE SANDWICH and MILEECE. Films from CEEPHAX .
TUES 29th - MDX Sonic Arts - starts 7:30pm (free)
An evening of interactive performances
THURS 31st - Vocal Noise - starts 8:00pm (£6/£4)
Live poetry, talks and performances focusing on the creative use of voice by Bob Cobbing & Lawrence Upton, Phil Holmes, Tim Brown, Ensemble-Intellectuel .
