The Fifth Season explores the mercurial nature of memory and the power it commands over our lives. Set on a train, we enter the minds of the passengers as they are lulled into reveries. A child remembers catching autumn leaves with her mother while an elderly man reflects on the pain and transcendence of extreme loneliness. A young woman is reminded of a past love and a young man of his awkwardness in a faraway country.
