Awake! become aware of the higher vibrations!

Dancing with Angels is an experimental performance / ritual which

celebrates the spirit of Life and the arrival of Spring.

During the process all involved have been tuning into an angelic realm

in order to create an uplifting event for which the 291 gallery (a huge

Gothic church) provides an innovative, thought-provoking setting.

The choreography is by Dominique Rivoal with a cast of 6 dancers with a

specially commissioned soundtrack by Lee Berwick (Digidub) with

Subsonics (seven metre long sub bass speakers) and surround sound.

The event also includes a kinetic Mandala film by Dominique Rivoal and

some live digital video manipulation.

The project is funded by the Lansdown Centre for Electronic Arts at

Middlesex University and is supported by Essex Dance.
